Universal flux, when used with appropriate submerged arc welding wire (such as EM12, EM12K, EL8, etc.), can be used to weld ordinary structural steel and boiler steel. The weld bead is smooth, the weld interface is flat, there is no undercut, the arc is stable, the slag is easy to remove, and there is no slag flow. It can be used for multi-pass welding and multi-wire welding, and is especially suitable for welding pipes of various calibers.
